What better place than the park to enjoy a moment of free rein? Lots of areas in our parks and gardens are dedicated to families. Here is a list (non-exhaustive) of where you'll find them!
Boulogne-sur-Mer
Banks of the Liane
Walkers, runners, cyclists ... The Banks de la Liane offer a magnificent place for walking, cycling or riding. Over a stretch of more than 5 km, wander along the banks of the Liane with the family, -young people will will particularly enjoy the skate park along teh way and there's a playground for the smallest visitors.
Gardens of the Nausicaá
17,000 m2 of green space surrounded by tall trees right in the heart of the city, at the foot of the National Sea Centre, "Nausicaá." The gardens offer a great opportunity to relax with your family, with walks, mini-golf and a playground for the youngest visitors.. It's also "the place to be" for all your sporting activities!
Outreau
Mont-Soleil park
Thirty acres of nature in the heart of the city with a panoramic view of the sea... what could be better? The long lawns of the park are lined with wild flower beds and dotted with small ponds. In good weather, you can find a peaceful spot to rest. Families will love all the activities proposed in the summer and the mini-golf, basketball courts, tennis and petanque will delight more sporty types.

Parc de la Falaise
Here is a park that combines nature, relaxation and leisure. Fifty acres of green spaces divided into two zones, the first for fun with a mini-golf course, hiking trails, sports tracks, and playgrounds, the second left voluntarily wild to preserve all its biodiversity, with no less than 255 species of birds, donkeys, ponies, goats and sheep roaming free! Popular with families, the Parc de la Falaise is the setting for lots of events and shows.
Equihen-Plage
Parc des Hures
A paradise for athletes, with a multi-sports field, athletic tracks, a football pitch and basketball hoops. In this amazing park, which covers 18 acres, you can also play tennis, volleyball or hockey. Overlooking the sea, it offers magnificent views of Equihen-Plage and the wild coastal environment. Oh, and we almost forgot the two fishing lakes!
Wimille
Parc d'Houlouve
Time seems to come to a standstill at the Parc d'Houlouve. Along this green, flowing, strip of nature the pools, reedbeds and wooded areas reveal different ecosystems, each time with beautiful surprises. Dragonflies, butterflies, insects and birds love it here and can be seen in abundance - nature in all its splendour! A stopover at the leisure area is a great to stretch your legs, with several car parks giving access to different parts of the looped walkway, allowing you to discover all the different aspects of the park. A real change of scenery guaranteed.
Nesles
Parc de la Glaisière
A clay quarry operated here until 1982, and today the Glasière de Nesles is home to a unique walk through a lush natural environment. Ponds, woods, the typical bocage meadows of the Boulogne country, alongside orchards of local fruits... A trail, accessible to all, allows visitors to trek around this amazing site and discover its many facets.
Condette
The Condette wetlands
At the foot of the Château de Hardelot you'll find a preserved wetlands area covering seventy acres, a bucolic environment where you can see all the main countryside types of the Boulogne region: ponds, meadows, peat woods and reed beds, with a signposted wetlands trail around the lake. An observatory gives visitors a great opportunity to watch birds such as the grey heron and the great crested grebe close up.
